Sinead is an Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy which she gained at the University if Limerik in Ireland.

She has a range of experience working with children, adolescents and adults including in paediatric disability, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and adult mental health services. Sinead finds her greatest passionate is helping young people to thrive by identifying and promoting their individual strengths. She has a particular interest in sensory modulation and is skilled in conducting sensory assessments and designing sensory interventions. She is a strong believer in the therapeutic benefits of sensory integration approaches, which is supported by a strong research base. In addition to her sensory expertise, Sinead is also experienced in the areas of functional assessment, emotional regulation, motor coordination, handwriting, organisational skills and improving meaningful engagement. Sinead has a collaborative approach that ensures that the family’s voice is truly heard and that practical recommendations are developed that can be readily implemented within the family context.
