Psychotherapist/Behaviour Support Practitioner

Leila is a Psychotherapist and registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Bachelor of Social Sciences and a Masters in Counselling from Monash University.

She has over 15 years of experience in providing psychosocial support to individuals and families across a variety of sectors in both Australia and overseas. Leila draws on evidence-based approaches to develop effective Behaviour Support Plans and provides parents with tailored support to confidently trial and implement strategies to successfully reduce behaviours of concern. She works respectfully in partnership with families to improve their quality of life and overall family functioning. She utilises social justice principles to address intersections of disadvantage and has a special interest in developing identity affirming approaches to Positive Behaviour Support.
